Saniah's Legacy Youth Ambassador Program

Program Purpose

The Guardians of Youth Foundation Youth Ambassador Program empowers passionate students to become advocates for Meningitis awareness, prevention, and education within their schools and communities.

Through leadership, education, and community engagement, ambassadors and interns help increase awareness about Meningitis, encourage preventive health practices, and inspire others to take action in protecting young lives. The program also provides students with valuable leadership, volunteer, and professional development opportunities while making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a current high school or college student.

  • Have a passion for community service, health education, and youth advocacy.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Be willing to represent the Guardians of Youth Foundation professionally.

  • Commit to fulfilling all program responsibilities throughout the semester.

Time Commitment

Youth Ambassadors are expected to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month during the program, including participation in training, outreach activities, awareness campaigns, and community service.

Ambassador Responsibilities

As a Guardians of Youth Foundation Youth Ambassador, you will:

  • Attend one mandatory Ambassador Training session.

  • Share educational content about Meningitis and prevention at least once each month through social media, school organizations, or community networks.

  • Participate in foundation awareness events and community outreach initiatives.

  • Recruit and encourage fellow students to join the Youth Ambassador Program.

  • Complete 10 community service hours each semester in support of the Foundation's mission.

  • Serve as a positive representative of the Guardians of Youth Foundation within your school and community.

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Training & Onboarding: Attend one mandatory Ambassador Training session to build your knowledge of Meningitis prevention and advocacy best practices.

  • Community Education: Share educational content about Meningitis awareness and prevention at least once each month via social media, school organizations, or community networks.

  • Event Outreach: Actively participate in foundation awareness events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.

  • Peer Recruitment: Promote the program within your school and encourage fellow students to join the ambassador initiative.

  • Service Dedication: Complete 10 verified community service hours each semester in support of the program's mission.

  • Positive Representation: Serve as a professional and positive representative of the program across all public and campus interactions.
