We are still buzzing from the overwhelming support at our completely sold-out inaugural “Swing for a Cause, Strike Out Meningitis” benefit this past Saturday! Seeing everyone gather at Home Run Dugout to honor Saniah’s memory, step up to the batting bays, and support The Guardians of Youth Foundation was truly unforgettable.

Just look at the incredible turnout! What a beautiful community we have built together! Thank you to every single person, family, and volunteer who showed up with a smile to help kids and fight meningitis. A special shoutout to our amazing sponsor, Prime Way Federal Credit Union, and to everyone who brought such fierce energy to the batting competitions and raffles.   

The momentum from this weekend’s success couldn't be more perfectly timed as we step into today, October 5th: World Meningitis Day. We are incredibly proud to share that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has provided an official state letter and proclamation recognizing World Meningitis Day across Texas today.

Because of your support this weekend, we are able to continue this vital public health advocacy and awareness work. Thank you for swinging for a cause, striking out meningitis, and keeping Saniah's bright legacy alive.
