The Immunization Partnership Annual Luncheon

Today was a truly profound and emotional experience. I had the absolute honor of serving as a featured speaker at The Immunization Partnership’s 16th Annual Luncheon at Hotel Zaza in the Houston Museum District.

The theme of today's event, "The Human Impact: Real stories. Real lives. A shared purpose," resonates so deeply with the mission we drive forward every day at The Goy Foundation. Standing at that podium, I was able to share my personal journey of preventative health advocacy, a journey fueled entirely by love and the memory of my beautiful daughter, Saniah.

The program reminded us that when voices rise, futures thrive. It was incredibly inspiring to share the stage with fellow passionate advocates like Riki and Juliana Graves and Sandy Abmayr, and to look out at a room filled with community leaders, medical professionals, and sponsors all dedicated to protecting public health.

Advocacy is about turning heartbreak into action and ensuring no other family has to endure preventable loss. As we continue to push for meningitis awareness and community education, moments like today remind me of the sheer power of our shared voices.

Thank you to The Immunization Partnership for providing this vital platform. I am leaving today feeling energized and more ready than ever for our inaugural "Swing for a Cause, Strike Out Meningitis" charity benefit coming up on October 3rd. Let's keep the momentum going! 💜
